posted by MerlinK For several months I have had 2 Celerons.

Some months were pretty good but some - terrible.
My servers went down for unknown reason for 2-3 times per day during weeks. Each downtime for hour and more even when I called in 1 minute of server went down.

My hosting company change HDD, OS, memory, chassis - it helps only for 1-2 weeks. Then it start to happen again.

My thought was it was my fault (my clients fault) - they eat much resources or maybe it is hackers or whatever else - just fault on my side.

2 weeks ago I order Xeon and move there all my clients from 2 Celerons.
It was on last Friday, DNS propagates till this Tuesday.

My Celerons have now 0.1-0.2 load and only few sleepy small clients use them now.
Think what - today I recieve outage IPMonitoring alerts for one of Celerons.
For no reason, for no CPanel update, for nothing - like all previous strange outages.

I'm not guru in server management but even I can do right conclusion now - this is not my fault (my clients, hackers etc), not server load etc.
This is completely hardware and/or OS problem.

I'd like to feel my servers are stable, at least I need to know why they are unstable. In my case they behave unpredictable at all.

I have read some similar stories here so ... be aware about hardware ...
